TT30 - Tiny Tuesday Christmas Orchid...

This is the very last bloom from one of the orchids in our kitchen...it fell off last night so I kept it for today's challenge...  I gave it a nice Christmas-themed background...we have a table centre on our kitchen table...a pretty little candle holder we bought at a flea market in Malmo several years ago...

We take delivery of our new sideboard for our kitchen this morning...it's been on order for months now and all of our stuff is sitting on the floor of our spare room so I can't wait to get it all cleared away and tidied in time for Christmas...

We had a wonderful day in Edinburgh yesterday but what a journey on the bus to get there and back...with the bridge closed it takes so much longer...I do feel sorry for all the poor people who have to do this every day...shame on our government for failing to maintain such an important lifeline for thousands of workers and businesses...especially as they knew about these repairs as far back as 2010 but chose to spend £40 million on road signs in Gaelic instead....now I know that traditions like Gaelic are important but not more important than safety on what is an essential bridge for this country....

I have been reading all the posts about the attempt to save Blipfoto...apparently they are 25% towards their goal with only a very short time left to find the remaining 75%...it's a pity that we can't get some entrepreneur to help....where is Richard Branson when you need him?
