Warwick's Farewell Party

It was a "Bitter Sweet" party at the Cockatoo Cafe today.  It wasn't just the end of year Christmas Party but it was also a farewell party for Warwick Wombat.

Warwick has put his hand up to take part in a special "Wild Life Experiment".  A well known Australian environmentalist is studying whether or not a Wombat could actually survive in the Northern Hemisphere.  She's fairly confident of success, mainly because Warwick will be staying with a very animal friendly family.  He will have other animals to play with and a foster mother who will keep him on his toes.  Qantas have put their hand up to sponsor the flight and have guaranteed safe passage.  We are putting our precious cargo in the hands of the worlds safest airline. 

How are we going so far :-) .....  have a very happy Christmas everyone, particularly those macro maniacs!!

PS - Very excited to be having a blipmeet with DollykGray just after Christmas.  That will be just wonderful.  I've been following Dolly for many months now.
