Leiden, university city

Another hot sunny day, whatever happened to typical Aberdeen weather. Well thankfully it is still in Aberdeen!

A visit to Leiden today, despite one or two eccentric photos I have gone totally traditional. A picture postcard Dutch scene of a canal.

The town was quite busy, we had a canal trip and quite a long walk around the city. A stop or two in canal side bars for refreshments completed the day.

We are quite pleased we managed the day on public transport which all worked very smoothly. Tomorrow, Wednesday is a car day. A trip further North perhaps?
