A quick whizz to the supermarket before it got too busy then kitchen and baking chores.

We are heading out to Lower Hutt when the parents get home from work for a pre Christmas BBQ with Doug's sister and families. Probably be 16 or so there. Always neat to catch up with rallies, cousins, nephew and nieces.

I've got the meats marinating, the breads ready for slicing later, I've made a yummy Kumera salad and the wine is chilling. Sorted.

Made a 10 egg Bacon & Egg pie for next week as well. Into the freezer it will go.

Best get the blip on before we go.
