Nut Roll
We're having company soon and Missy Ann is doing her very best to make sure that they feel welcome and loved. This pastry will spend the intervening time between now and the visit cooling its heals in the freezer.
When its brought out it will be as good as if it just came out of the oven.
But today the house is filled with the aroma of fresh baking and if I never got a bite of the nut roll the enjoyment of that smell is a wonderful thing to be grateful for.
