Just Friends

Today was the first of two visits to the Hampton Court Flower Show. An overcast sky and occasional drizzle did not deter the large crowds from enjoying the many show gardens and flower pavilions.

I was going to blip a flower picture but decided on this one instead. It is part of a large display called Urban Oasis by Groundwork a community charity which shows how green spaces can be created in the most unpromising of locations. Flowers and food growing areas can be created on waste ground and densely populated residential areas. The aim of the charity is to encourage communities to get together and get growing.
