Bags Packed

Spent today cleaning the bike, getting my kit together and packing my bags. It felt good to be getting my stuff organised and to be looking over the various bits and bobs such as maps, timetables, booking confirmations and double checking everything I can think of.

My cold is slowly getting better, so I am almost certain I will make the start line, after that I will just have to see how it goes. My plan has always been to try and be very conservative with my pace, as I got carried away early on my last iron distance race and really suffered as a result. This time I will have to be even more careful to stay controlled.
