Hello my deer!

The walking group went around the Powis Castle and Welshpool area this morning. The weather was appalling - heavy rain and strong winds and only six of us braved it!

We did a walk (though shorter than it would have been) and spent extra time in the castle cafe for very enjoyable coffee, cake and chat.

The deer were around in the parkland and this obliging young male appeared from behind a tree to pose for me.

Just as we got to the cars the rain stopped and the sun came out. Typical!!
