Sunset over Cley Marsh
We didn't get out until quite late for a walk today and the sun was quite low when we arrived at Cley. However we couldn't have timed it better for enjoying the sunset.
As we arrived we were parked next to a small wood, and were treated to a tawny owl hooting very close by, it's surprising how loud their call is.
Cley Marsh was full of large numbers of widgeon, and lapwings, and we enjoyed a splendid view of a beautiful male pintail preening himself in the dying sun...definitely one of the most handsome ducks in my opinion.
