Gettin' Our Holiday Groove

My favorite up and coming musicians took center stage this evening to perform several jazz covers along with many original and holiday tunes. Conner (on sax and keyboard) and Kaeli (vocals and bass) have been making music together since they were both in middle school. Both are a treat to listen to and a pleasure to know. Joining them tonight on backup vocals was their friend Morgan, another local talent. Not included in this photo was their drummer, Alex. 

Kaeli is presently studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston and just flew into town in the wee hours of this morning. I cannot believe she had the stamina to perform the same day! From here, the group has several house concerts lined up, then Kaeli travels to the San Francisco Bay Area for several more gigs during her holiday break. What an exciting life!
