Nice with Mint Sauce

They always say that Wicklow Lamb goes down well with mint sauce. Unfortunately so many of them go into the export trade that the price in the butcher's shops for what's left is so high that lots of people can't afford it.
These hardy specimens were munching away on fine green grass as the rain poured down. It looks very much like we are not going to have a summer this year. Both yesterday and today I had to drive on the main roads with fog lamps switched on both fore and aft. Like guys, it's July. Happy 4th of July to all my American friends as you gear up for the big day tomorrow.
