Cheery Cubicle Christmas

I chose this scene as my Facebook cover photo on December 18, 2012. The pic features my work cubicle all decked out in Holiday finery. Front and center is the paper snowflake garland patterned after the one in the movie 'Elf,' that I spent countless hours constructing for a Holiday party some years ago. It has since become one of my favorite Christmas decorations (as well as the one my kids tease me about the most).


See the pretty snowflakes
Falling from the sky;
On the walk and housetops
Soft and thick they lie.
On the window-ledges
On the branches bare;
Now how fast they gather,
Filling all the air.
Look into the garden,
Where the grass was green;
Covered by the snowflakes,
Not a blade is seen.
Now the bare black bushes
All look soft and white.
Every twig is laden-
What a pretty sight!
