Layers

In preparation for the long cold winter, I have taken an online course on flower photography.  Yesterday was my first attempt, after having acquired a little bit of knowledge.  When I posted it I wasn’t sure, but I have finally decided that particular very dreamy look is not for me, but I am glad some of you liked it. 

Today I worked the roses.  After working them with the camera for quite a while and then in Lightroom, I was so sick of looking at the color red, that I found this split tone version much more appealing. ..... Maybe this flower photography thing really isn't going to be my forté.
