Backblip

The garden is just about at its barest just now and looking a bit sorry for itself, but I realised today that it's only two days till the shortest day when things will start slowly moving in the other direction towards Spring and lighter nights.  That made me smile :)

Finished the last of the Christmas and birthday gift wrapping today.  Slight problem in that two of Ele's birthday gifts are missing.  I can only assume I have wrapped them in Christmas paper at an earlier date, in my enthusiasm for getting the wrapping task completed.  

Didn't have time to go through the Christmas stuff to check as it was time to get ready to go to our favourite local eatery to celebrate David's birthday.
Great food, great atmosphere and great time.  This place is becoming our second home!

Back home for a G&T, feet up and Notting Hill on the telly.  David fell asleep on the couch.  Could have been any night of the week :-)))
