Lali's World

Sunrise reflection at Kingsbarns Distillery

I was lucky enough this morning to have a bit of sunshine on my way to work. It's quite strange to walk to work with absolutely no people around me, by the way... I have to wear my wellies as well, because the road to the distillery is full of mud.

A beautiful sunrise welcomed me as I arrived to the distillery this morning and I had my camera in hand so, of course, I had to take some pictures.

My new job is going well and I'm settling in slowly. At the moment we're rather quiet though, being low season. People are too busy doing their Christmas shopping, I believe. The Forth Road Bridge closure doesn't help matters either....

Talking about the bridge closure, one day I made the foolish mistake to take the bus to Edinburgh... it took me five hours!!!! The train seems a bit faster; however, because there are more trains now due to the bridge closure, the trains go more slowly making you late everywhere, adding to the commuting misery.... Anyway....

Changing subject, nice to have a bit of peace and quiet for a change, but really looking forward to finally move in Anstruther and have a bit more of a social life... In the cottage where I'm staying at the moment I can feel a bit lonely sometimes and, as I don't drive, I'm sort of stuck in there... Not long to go though!

Sorry I haven't been around much but I've been busy with one thing and another. My packing is well behind schedule... I'll get there sometime soon... I hope anyway!

Thanks for all your comments. Hope you're all well and have a lovely Christmas!! :) xx
