Home is where the hearth is

Bleary eyed this morning, been a lovely but very tiring weekend. Went to meet family and took a gingerbread house discounted in Waitrose from twenty five pounds to six. Had to choose carefully - some of them had subsidence and dodgy roofing ...

Popped in to see Aged P but she is not well at the moment and they didn't want to wake her. So we came home through torrential rain, me nodding off and TSM mastering the elements and getting us safely home.

Felt cold tonight so we made up a fire which improved our wellbeing several hundred percent. 

Here's hoping for three days of work free of drama, and then a break ...
