Trying to feel sparkly...

The day had started badly in Tesco when my card was declined. Roll on payday :(

Ellen was determined to make me feel Christmassy yesterday and so she has bought me a Christmas tree. It is real and stands about a foot high. I decided to shake off the shopping frustration and put out some festive decorations. My fireplace looks sparkly now. I am trying to embrace the seasonal feelings, but these baubles say it all.....

Now...well, now I am watching one of my favourite films, Ice Cold in Alex. 
"I'll tell you this, the next drink I'll have is going to be a lager, ice cold." I love it.
