The Living Years

Moon!

Really I promise this is the moon. Just a few days away from a full moon.

Taken when we got home after Friday's celebrations.

On Saturday I had lots of blip opportunities unfortunately I left my camera at home.

L and I woke up at 7.20am which considering it was the first day of my summer holidays I was pretty impressed with. We got the bus to Harkany where there is a large spa complex. It was a couples day with L's best friend, her boyfriend and two other couples. My first couples day out! It was a great day. One of the highlights was going to the medicinal spa and realising we shouldn't be there as we hadn't paid the extra. We stayed in for a while though. I thought I'd lost my sunglasses in the water but L assured me that they were in my bag. They weren't and when we tried to go back to find them the woman stopped us. I had to play the English card and pretend to neither speak nor understand Hungarian. Unfortunately I couldn't find them anyway as the water is so high in minerals you cannot see the bottom.

We then got invited to spend the evening in Pecs. Everyone left but we stayed a bit longer in Harkany and danced to the live band while in the pool and dealt with a changing room door that didn't close.

Tired and sunburnt (no idea why, I was plastered in factor 50) but very happy we got the bus back to Pecs.

A beautiful walk in the city, free water, playing in the fountains and special mist gate before going to a small street festival. The water and the mist gate are because it is so hot at the moment. Delicious barbecued trout, potato wedges and vegetables for dinner. Some wine, beer and good company before walking home and crashing on our friend's sofa.

Fabulous day. Perfect.

Back blip so I'm sure I've missed something.
