Alpensnow

Hands up who remembers when Alpen, the well-known breakfast cereal was launched? TML will for sure. Our mother would only let us have three dessert spoonfuls per portion, as 'that's what it says on the packet". I adored the sugary taste, but as I've never been a fan of milk on cereal and would eat it dry, I'd occasionally inhale the 'dust' and begin choking.

Here are the real Alps. No cereal was prvided, but I did have some lovely meals on Etihad flights and no hassle. apart from running through Abu Dhabi airport afer clearing their cattle -squeeze machine that is airport security. Arrived at Colombo fresh as a daisy that's well over its prime, and have hardly slept since. It is 20 C here in Sri Lanka in the bedroom with the air conditioning on.
