Morning Sky

It was lovely to see some sun and blue sky this morning as I made the morning tea. I knew I wasn't going to have much spare time in the daylight hours so I grabbed the camera and took a picture. Good job I did because half an hour later the rain started again.

Fortunately, it stopped by the time we walked down the hill to enjoy a friend's lunchtime birthday party and we were able to time it for another lull to walk back. It's been that sort of day!

So here is the best part of the day preserved for posterity.
