Barbara Hepworth's Oval

Today's the day ............................ for a bit of culture

This bronze sculture by Barbara Hepworth, entitled Oval form - Trezion sits outside the Abbot Hall Art Gallery in Kendal where we went for a spot of lunch today.

Trezion was the name of the home Barbara Hepworth shared with Ben Nicholson whilst they were living in St Ives in Cornwall. It was sculpted in the early 60s and is one of seven casts all with the same name. The other six are to be found in
