Bristol Cathedral

Thank you all for your good wishes on my birthday and for Grace for her performance in last night's show at the Bristol Hippodrome.

We had a super evening - a great show with the addition of a potted history of the theatre including the role of Archie Leach as a cast call boy. (Archie Leach AKA Cary Grant who was born in Horfield just up the road from Grace and attended one of the schools in which she teaches! )

This picture was snatched through the window as we stopped for traffic lights on the way to deliver Grace for her matinee and evening performance today. It shows part of College Green in front of the Cathedral at the bottom of Park Street.

We then had a tedious journey home which took over 6 hours instead of the usual 4!
