Sitting Pretty

Pretty Hen is sitting on a dozen eggs due out on the 30th of this month. Unbeknown to me, she had made a nest in long grass next to the neighbours' garden and they spotted her when they were scything.  Her own eggs would have been infertile and I swapped them for a mixture of Ancona and Araucana eggs. She has a blue drum for shelter and gets off her nest every other day to stretch her legs and have a snack.
