From the ground up

Arrived in Christchurch to low temps and high winds, with a suitcase full of sandals and linen! First stop fleece jacket buying. Seemed to do the trick as the sun came out and it was beautiful for the rest of the day :D

Five years on, the devastating aftereffects of the earthquakes in 2010 and 2011 are only too apparent. But there is a wonderful resilience and cheerfulness about everyone I have met today.

NZ is looking like a great choice of destination!
