Birmingham central library, a jewel in the crown of what is a surprising city.

A great day out with dad through the new station, bullring, and up through the German Christmas markets and happy mingling of people to the centenary square, library, and then onto the gas street basin canals.  Poetically in the background there was also some continuing destruction of 60's brutalism which previously gave Birmingham a bad name.

Recommended, especially with the markets right now. Go see!
