It's a cracker!

You can't argue with that. These are the pleasantly understated Christmas decorations in the house where I did a short dog-sit to let the owners attend a lunch.

I am now back home for a few days and enjoying the novelty, but apart from the candle arch that I put in the lounge window and the Christmas cards on the sideboard, it's hardly worth putting up any decorations.

Having said that I didn't mind who won Strictly because they were all so good and  likeable, I felt a bit flat when Jay won. On tonight's performance I thought either Kellie or Georgia deserved it more.

Call me grumpy if you like, but I'm hoping Claudia Winkleman will brush up her interviewing skills before the next series...
