When grandpa brings lemons

Make a gin and tonic.

These are a little taste of Spain. My dad has just come back from a trip there and our tiny little lemon tree (which I was all ready to replace a couple of years ago after a few barren years) was laden with fruits.

A tough day for J who was struggling with the aftermath of two outings yesterday. But we did make it to the tank and hopefully despite the effort it did him some good.

Meanwhile Anna and Carl had a fabulous festive skating and lunch outing.

We met up back home for some final (like it's finished, ha ha) sorting before my folks arrived, and it's been gin, fizz (it's their 51st wedding anniversary today), Carlos curry and the final of Strictly. With a brief interlude for a few rounds of Telestrations - our new Christmas game, a sort of drawing Chinese whispers and highly entertaining.
