Emma's Day

Today has mainly been about Emma. She was due a second interview in Worcester for the post of Account Manager for Jaguar Cars in the agency events team. This was at 9 o'clock and not having a car yet it was up to Ann to get up and take her there. I stayed in bed looked after the dog.

The interview with the MD seemed to go well, and he was to meet with Jaguar later in the afternoon.

In the meantime we went to Nero for a coffee and a spot of car hunting; singling out a few hopefuls. After lunch and a little tennis, we headed off to Studley to look at some cars. Emma took the one she'd seen out for a test run, I sat in the back. We were all agreed the ominous sounds coming from the engine were not promising, and probably expensive; so back to base.

Shortly after arriving home the telephone call came we were all wishing for - Emma had been offered the job. She was, to put it mildly, very pleased, as we all were. Starting on Monday, now all she needs is transport to and from Worcester.
