Concert Day; Messiah

The first of the season's concerts for me this evening - a performance of Handel's 'Messiah' with Tring Choral Society.  Rehearsal this afternoon went well except no one warned us that the tenor soloist would look not much more than a boy - we have yet to hear him sing!

I was climbing up the staging to my place and a helpful bass pulled out a step for me - this meant I caught my foot on the step and my face crashed into the railing - I have a broken specs lens and a rather splendid black eye!  Voice not affected though.
