Bad Manners

Back in the late 1970's / early 80's and barely in my teens I first got into this band.
I loved the whole '2 tone era' as it was known, with bands like Specials, Madness, Selecter and Bad Manners. Bad Manners were/are a fun band who are great live.
In fact a funny story I have revolves around Bad Manners.
One of the first gigs I went to without my parents was Bad Manners in the early 1980's. I had cropped my hair for the first time, wore jeans, Doctor Martin shoes and a Fred Perry top. My Mum looked dissaprovingly at me (especially the haircut) and I still remember her saying "You'll look back on this when you are grown up and realise just how silly you look"
Here I am over 25 years later, still cutting my hair short, still wearing jeans and Doc Martin shoes and 'yes', still wearing Fred Perrys - Oh, and still going to see Bad Manners.

The singer, Buster Bloodvessel (not his real name!!!) hasn't changed much.
