Kingfisher-getting closer!

She is getting very relaxed at me getting closer, I just need to be closer and for her to be in good light, she likes the shady side of her palm tree and here she has been moved off her usual perch by naughty House Crows who for some reason 'spook' her (of course she is very tiny so she may feel intimidated by them)In this photo she's trying a bit of fishing straight off the bank of my Wadi river. She gets more beautiful the more you look at all those different feathers and colours.
I do apologise for not giving Blipfoto the attention I usually do, but I've got visitors staying at the moment.
