Flower Friday

And a gypsy flower.

I was given it by a man from whom I bought one of my garden trugs, at the Green Scything Fair. A weekend I think about fondly, as it was where I learnt to scythe and entered my first scything competition!

It initially had a twig as a stem, but it broke off in the wind, so now it is wedged in the remains of the stem of my umbrella. I knew it would come in useful one day, when I could not throw it away with the rest of the broken umbrella ;)
