Sunset after a grey day

It had been a grey day, under a layer of heavy cloud, with occasional rain, except for around sunrise, about 8 am, when some pink appeared briefly in the eastern sky. Then as the time for sunset came, just after 4 pm, I looked out of the window and saw an orange glow. I rushed out with my camera and took this picture!
(PS - I need to adjust the time on the camera, which is still set to British summer time!)
