Traveling is the pits

Arriving is generally good though! This visit will see lots of travelling, and thus lots of arriving.

Right now I could do without one sulky kid, one catatonic kid (the new travel sickness tablets are a little too effective), too much luggage, and a recurrence of that shoulder thing.

Though I would not like to drive in London these days, there's a lot to be said for falling into a hire car at the airport, rather than train, other train, bus, walk. (Given TallGirl's state, a taxi may have to intervene...)

Earlier, TallGirl's school report was better than expected, and packing went so smoothly that I even had time to do some housework!
