Mad Friday....

Today is Mad Friday in the UK. A lot of firms close down today for the Christmas break and it's the last Friday before Christmas Day so it's the busiest party day of the year.

I had to go in work early today and then I spent part of the afternoon in the hospital visiting someone who's been taken in suddenly. We are worried that they may be spending Christmas in there.

In the evening I went to HOME to meet up with some people. Next door to HOME is one of Manchester's newest hotels, INNSIDE. It's the one that looks like a giant piece of red LEGO. It was busy with people enjoying Mad Friday. It has some spectacular Christmas decorations including this one on the end of the bar.
