Walk in the woods

Well first things first, we blew it big time at the Christmas quiz, we broke a golden rule and changed one of our answers, which cost us the win and pushed us down into 4th place :-( The good news is we did win 2 raffle prizes, more chocolate!

This morning there was a little bit of brightness up in the sky, not sure what it was (!) so we decided to go out for a walk, as rain was forecast by noon.

We walked up past the farm I blipped yesterday and down into Viridor Woods. We were glad we had our walking shoes on, it was a bit boggy underfoot in parts. The uphill sections found us somewhat hot under the colour as it was so mild, we had to undo our jackets!

The light wasnt great but the sky was quite dark which gave it a little character. The dried grasses were making that lovely rustling sound as we walked around the circular path. There wasn't a lot in the way of wildlife anywhere, other than the odd Magpie and Robin!

Most of the shots I took were a bit flat but I thought this one had a little bit more about it, hope you like it.

Been tired today, didn't have a long enough sleep last night, so been a bit lazy today :-/
