Empty bedroom...waiting

Martin has driven to Durham to pick up James today.  After a 4.5 hour journey to get there 3 hours ago he has literally turned around and started heading back.

I am  awaiting eta news at 8.00pm which will depend on whether I order an Indian takeaway for all of us, or whether I cook cheesy pasta for those of us at home.  If the eta is later than 9.00pm then the travellers will stop to eat on the way.

I can't wait to see my eldest son and won't relax until they are home and safe.

The champagne is in the fridge and so 'Christmas' will start later when all the family are home.
