It's beginning to feel ......

......a lot like Christmas.

We had our annual pre-Christmas lunch out with friends today.  This always marks the start of Christmas for me (although with the unseasonably warm weather it still doesn't feel quite right).

I nipped into the Cathedral before lunch, mainly to escape the crowds and to see this years display of Christmas trees (which are decorated by schools from around Chester).  The choir were rehearsing carols which added to the Christmassy feel.
