Hidden treasure

I've been looking forward to this weekend in London for ages. A marvellous concert (Cecilia Bartoli and Rolando Villazon) tonight and "Eugene Onegin " at the Royal Opera House tomorrow.

But today turned out to be much more earthy. There's an amazing buzzy Italian restaurant hiding near Great Ormond Street Hospital which is perfect for straightforward Italian fare.

And the nearby Hobbs had a sale. It's nice to be naughty occasionally.
