Christmas Ornament

Because of Minstrel we are slightly limited as to what decorations we can have and where. We used to put lights in the front window but can't now as there is a risk he could burn the house down or electrocute himself or something. And Christmas ornaments in the window or anywhere high up are a no-go, as he smashed one the first night we put them up!

Basically things have to be out of reach or indestructible! (This doesn't include the tree! We just do our best to keep him away from the temptation of that. But we would not want to be constantly dragging him away from things!)

I bought this Christmas village ornament when Jae was small. It lights up and the Santa moves. It also plays Christmas songs in a plinky-plonky electronic way, but that is very annoying after about 30 seconds so doesn't get used! 

Anyway it's heavy enough that a small cat can't move it far, and low enough down that  he can't knock it onto the floor should he manage it! He has investigated it, but because he can't do a lot with it he mostly ignores it!

It doesn't matter if he plays with the lorry, he can't do much harm with or to that!
I have work tonight and again we will be a member of staff down as Andrew who usually works has gone to a wedding. But there will be three of us and it MAY not be busy as I believe tonight is traditional works "do" night.
