Mad Friday

I made the mistake of telling my Sister I had the day off today; she invited me shopping with her and the kids....a 9am start!

I was up and ready when she text me to say she'd slept in and would be at least another hour. This gave me time to get on with a few jobs at home so I didn't mind.

Shopping with Theo was an eye opener to say the least and I'm kind of glad now she decided not to come with us to Manchester the other week as he was a terror!

Theia is no bother at all, but Theo is like a Tasmanian devil in a harness.

It took us the best part of 4 hours (in between sausage roll stops, toilet stops, bottle breaks and rides) to get what she wanted from 2 shops.

She said I had the magic touch with him as I managed to avoid a couple of tantrums (from him) by using a bit of bargaining...if he put the barbie back on the shelf, he could have a Kinder surprise egg. Sorted.

By the time we got home, I was exhausted. At least I could have a nap, no such luck for my poor Sister.

Kids.....who'd have 'em?!
