Office Politics

Before Fergus came, Mushroom always had the place of honor - the big cat bed on the corner of the desk so he could be near me all day while I worked. As soon as Fergus got here, he completely took over the cat bed and Mush hasn't been near it in 7 months. I have missed having him at work, but he's so big that when he lays down between my keyboard and monitor I can't see the bottom of the screen to work! Today I gave in and gave him his own cat bed on the desk, in his favorite spot and he's quite thrilled (although his face doesn't show it). My desk is now 60% covered in cat and my work will surely suffer...but they're happy.
