The cardboard cathedral

We have been shocked by the devastation in Christchurch 4 years after the earthquake that decimated the city.

We have also been moved by the spirit and heart of the local people.

The photo is of the 'transition' cathedral, more commonly called the cardboard cathedral. Even this cross at the front of the lovely space is made from cardboard tubes!

Unfortunately we just missed the choristers' lunchtime recital.
