Taj Mahal!

Before I went to the Taj Mahal I went to a cafe. This is no ordinary cafe. This cafe is to raise awareness for acid attacks. All of the employees are survivors of an acid attack. India is the number one place in the world for acid attacks. The reason why this happens is women don't have boys as kids, or they reject a proposal, or they won't have sex with anyone. They throw acid on the women's face because India's society is very harsh on women's looks. This cafe gives women hopes and dreams and a reason to go out of the house. After the cafe we went to the Taj Mahal and our tour guide told us the story of it. But long story short the Taj Mahal was a last request of a beloved wife. It is used as a mausoleum for both of their bodies. Everything is symmetrical about the Taj Mahal except the king is in the middle and his beloved wife is off to his right. The Taj Mahal is made of marble and has a sight like no other. It resembles what Muslims believe as heaven and has a lot of spiritual connections. When I was there, guys were constantly trying to take pictures of me. Twice, armed military personnel had to take me away from the guys or took a guy away from me. Those were the only times where it got out of hand. But other than that the experience was breath taking!
