Herring Gull

Fortunately I managed to photograph this Gull just after it had landed on the chimney of the building that my balcony looks out on while I was waiting for a parcel to be delivered. The weather was still sunny then but the sky had completely clouded over when the parcel had finally arrived and I could go out to do my shopping.
