Heart

Our one main day in Basel. We got to do lots. We had a fabulous breakfast in our lovely hotel....nice attentive waiters and a good buffet selection. Our hotel was right in the centre too which was handy. We visited the Christmas markets then took a tram around Basel to see as much as we could in a fairly short time. My favourite area was Bruderholtzstr which was a residential area with amazing houses. The allotments there didn't have normal garden sheds but minature Swiss chalets as sheds. I want to live in Switzerland!! We noticed a great coffee shop on our tram travels so we looped a little and went back to this coffee shop. Brian's holding a chocolate heart for me....awwww....ha.

In the evening we went for an Indian meal....very expensive but a nice treat.
