a run on the beach

An eventful day. Had to be at the hospital in cork first thing. Amazingly we were in and out of there in 15 mins!  I have a bit of a swelling on my face and had to see a consultant. There'll have to be a biopsy and some surgery but I am happy that it probably isnt anything to worry about. 
Then a brisk walk at the Warrens with one of the dogs who behaved impeccably. We had the whole place to ourselves and the sea was wild. 
Then coffee with a friend,J, and a good chat. 
And this evening Christmas drinks and mince pies with my colleagues. We had a great evening, I haven't laughed so much in ages.
