Cleaning up

Last, frantic, day working at home, juggling about six different projects. I have sent nearly 100 emails today. I pity the recipients.

I spent an unhappy half an hour this evening wrestling with a car hire firm website, only to end up phoning them in the end, but the outcome seems to have been favourable.

And I haven't done the ironing. Or booked the taxi. Or even - goodness me - packed my clothes (although I know what I'm taking which is half the battle....).

But equally, I'm glad I wasn't this chap.
