Our nearest neighbor

This little (?) creature have been living in our garage for a few years now. He is about 30cm from head to tail and one of the biggest I have seen over the years living in the Lowveld with it's subtropical climate. He is a blue head agama (Acanthocerus articollis). Their heads turn an amazing ultramarine color during mating season and from experience with one or two close encounters with them, they can certainly stand their ground!
