It's beginning to feel a bit like Xmas

For anyone bereaved, can I recommend 'Levels of Life' by Julian Barnes. I have read loads of books on this subject but his is the one which most resonates with my experience. I probably am paraphrasing, but ' If it didn't matter, then it wouldn't matter.'

On a lighter note, weather here has been great. Visit to dentist went well - but has left me with great worry about privatisation of NHS. Since my dentist went private getting appointment has been difficult . Don't know if coming from Glasgow is a factor, but when I was a teenager my female, ( very cruel), dentist, told me I wouldn't have molars past my thirties. Well I'm now well into my sixties and still have a lot of them.
